In order to clean your home safely, The SoftWash Company’s Auckland house washing team will use a method of pressure washing called softwashing, this is a pressure washing service on a lower setting that ensures the safety of your home and surrounding plants and garden while still effectively removing and cleaning anything in the way.

Like all New Zealand Based House Washing Businesses, we use Sodium Hydrochloride (Liquid Chlorine/”Bleach”) along with a Bio-degradeable House Wash Mix which works as a surfactant. 

We treat every house differently. Our technicians will evaluate the condition of your home, and then mix the detergent onsite. Our detergent is biodegradable, safe to human, pets, and plants, and proven to be effective. 

If you are not a fan of Bleach, that’s fine! Unfortunately we will not be able to provide you with a SoftWash Service as this is the only reason we can provide a SoftWash in a way that does not harm your property with high pressure, along with being able to do it in a time-effective manner.

The SoftWash Company realises that Exterior Cleaning such as Soft Washing or Pressure Washing may provide a minor disturbance to your business, so we are always able to accomodate with after-hour or weekend cleanings to completely accomodate your requirements.

The SoftWash Company is a cashless business. We accept Debit & Credit Card via our mobile devices and payment can be done on-site after the service is done on-site. 

If you are unable to pay immediately after your House Wash Service is complete or wish to pay via Bank Transfer, we will send you an Online Invoice where you can easily pay via Bank Transfer or Credit Card/Debit.

In the case of Commercial Work, Payment is sent via an online invoice.

It is our policy to complete a scheduled job rain or shine. In the event of light precipitation we will continue as scheduled because rain does not effect the cleaning. In the event of heavy rain or showers, we will return within 1 to 2 days to complete the outside work.

We have our own state of the art equipment and supplies. All we ask it that there is a clear path to your home. Move any furniture, plants, bbq’s or breakable items. 

Our friendly staff are happy to help move larger items (within reason of course!)

No, although we would love to see you and chat with you, we are able to perform all of our exterior cleaning services without you being present at your home. If you plan to be away from home during the time of service please allow us to have access to all parts of your property that will be requiring cleaning. However, if you are wishing to get your Interior Windows done, we would require either access instructions or for you to be home. In case you need to head out, we tend to do the Interior Windows first!

Depending on the Quality of your Joinery, Water Ingress can happen with a Home SoftWashed. Although we do everything we can to prevent this, in order to provide a great exterior finish sometimes some water will come in. Unfortunately as the age and quality is outside of our control, we are unable to provide a guarantee or the like that no water will come inside. This is why we suggest placing old towels near these places, especially if you have not had your Home SoftWash Before and may not know where the leak points may be when a SoftWash Occurs.

Due to the amount of risk, we do not clean any Cedar Homes. We suggest contacting a Cedar Maintenance Specialist in order to get your Cedar Home Washed.

Thanks to our handy central Auckland location, The SoftWash Company is able to service 90%+ of the Auckland Region. Our Service Radius usually comprises of 16KM from Greenlane, if you’re outside of that, a very small Travel Charge may be applied. Of course, you will know about this well in advance! No surprises.
