Terms of Trade for The Softwash Company.
1. Introduction
These Terms of Trade ("Terms") govern the provision of exterior soft washing and surface cleaning services ("Services") by The Softwash Co ("we," "us," "our") to our clients ("you," "your"). By engaging our Services, you agree to these Terms.
2. Services
We offer residential and commercial soft washing services, including but not limited to house washing, driveway and exterior surface cleaning, as detailed on our website.
3. Booking and Confirmation
Bookings can be made via our online platform, powered by ServiceM8. Upon booking, you will receive a confirmation outlining the service details, date, and time.
4. Pricing and Payment Terms
Pricing: Our services are offered at flat-rate or quoted pricing, inclusive of GST, as specified on our website or provided in a formal quote.
Payment Terms: Invoices are issued upon completion of services and are due within 7 days. We accept payments via bank transfer, credit card, or other methods as specified in the invoice.
5. Client Responsibilities
To ensure efficient service delivery, clients are responsible for:
Providing safe and unobstructed access to the property.
Removing any personal items or obstacles from areas to be cleaned.
Notifying us of any specific requirements, fragile surfaces, or pre-existing damage.
6. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Client-Initiated: Cancellations or rescheduling requests should be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled service. Late cancellations may incur a fee.
Company-Initiated: We reserve the right to reschedule services due to unforeseen circumstances, such as adverse weather conditions, and will notify you promptly.
7. Satisfaction Guarantee
We are committed to delivering high-quality services. If you are not satisfied, please contact us within 48 hours, and we will address your concerns promptly.
8. Liability
While we take utmost care, we are not liable for:
Pre-existing damage to property.
Damage resulting from faulty construction, design flaws, or underlying structural issues.
Incidents arising from client negligence or failure to disclose sensitive surfaces.
· Chemical Damage: Our cleaning solutions are industry-approved and degradable, but some surfaces may react unpredictably. We conduct a test spot before proceeding and can provide full details of the chemicals used upon request. Provided our team applies the chemicals as per industry standards, any discoloration, fading, or deterioration of surfaces remains the property owner’s responsibility. It is the property owner's obligation to ensure surfaces are in suitable condition for soft washing.
9. Health and Safety
Our soft washing process involves the use of low-pressure washing and degradable cleaning solutions. While safe for most surfaces, please inform us of any specific concerns.
We will not undertake work that compromises health and safety regulations, including accessing unsafe roofs or fragile structures.
Our team follows all relevant WorkSafe NZ guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
10. Privacy
We collect and use personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020. Your information is used solely for service delivery and administrative purposes.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with New Zealand law.
